You matter. Your life matters. Your story matters. As a woman, any form of rejection or betrayal can emotionally dismantle you. I know. I've been there too. If you are trying to navigate the social/emotional journies of infidelity, divorce, intimacy anorexia, or finding your purpose and calling after a life -altering interruption, I would love to walk with you on your journey. I've battled Jezebel in my marriage and I am also partner betrayal trauma certified.. I'd love to help you find your lioness roar and remember who you are in Christ. God designed you to slay our enemies and no weapon formed against you can prosper.

Quoting David Mathis, "Poor listening diminishes another person, while good listening invites them to exist and matter. Positively, then, good listening requires concentration and means we're in with both ears, and that we hear the other person out till they're done speaking. Rarely will the speaker begin with what's most important, and deepest. We need to hear the whole train of thought, all the way to the caboose, before starting across the tracks." Who then should set up an appointment? Ideal clients are males, couples or families seeking life transformation, relationship growth or reconciliation or spiritual formation for life 's journey.

Life is full of transitions and sometimes we need help navigating our journey. Sometimes we need a safe nonjudgmental space to explore and work through our concerns, feelings or life issues. Sometimes we just need a quick affirmation that we are on the right path and other times we need help finding the way. My goal is to provide a space where every individual and couple feels heard, accepted and encouraged. I want to provide a personalized approach that helps empower you to have insight, make changes, overcome your life 's obstacles and find balance in your life -mind, body and spirit.

Life can be challenging and at some point, those “challenges” can be a bit more than we know how to tackle on our own. Whether you are simply seeking a healthier lifestyle, focusing on managing relationships, or needing support to get through a life -altering crisis or traumatic event, therapy can help. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, bi-polar disorder, grief or any other issue, there is hope. You may feel hesitant at first to seek assistance, but once you do, you will feel more confident knowing you are taking the beginning steps to a better life and more improved you.

If your life is fully functional, you don't have to struggle to understand why things are the way they are. It is when we hit a wall in our relationships, career or health that we get pushed out of our comfort zone and start looking for answers. People often think that they can deal with all these on their own. However, emotional wellbeing is essentially a two person process as we can only find ourselves in the eye of another. The therapist's questions might bring out the answers in you that will support you in developing a much needed fresh perspective in life .

Have you had transitions in your life lately that it just feels overwhelming? Are you unsure what to do anymore as life is getting harder and harder? Are you tired of feeling like this and are ready to not just exist, but thrive? I congratulate you on taking this step, because I know there can be many hurdles to receiving therapy and finding the right therapist. As you are considering the right fit, I’ll tell you a little about myself and my approach to therapy. I love helping others with life transitions, anxiety, depression, and trauma to get to a more promising place holistically (not just mentally).

I specialize in treating current or former athletes ages 6 to adult that are struggling with sports anxiety, poor confidence, slumps, mental blocks, life , and college transitions.
I strongly believe the hardest opponent we will ever face as an athlete is ourselves. Do you beat yourself up with negative self-talk, hold onto losses or errors for extended periods of time? Maybe you are experiencing a mental block or the sport you love is starting to create more anxiety than enjoyment? As a former college softball player, fitness competitor, strength trainer, and women's football player I understand the demands and pressures to compete on an elite level both physically and mentally.

Life can be tough sometimes. There are times when you just need someone to listen and for you to be able to talk to them openly, without any judgment or fear. Kids, teens, young adults, and families are welcome to come and bring their struggles and hurts with them. Young adults who are dealing with the stress of college or just of life in general as an adult can come and learn to release their worries. We work together to set goals and work through your issues and needs to meet your desired goals. Clients can range from children as young as 3 all the way up to parents and grandparents that are wanting to live happier lives.

At times, life can be down right hard. It becomes exhausting to manage how you feel and how you sometimes respond. Crying easily, worrying, and feeling alone, angry, overwhelmed, and sad are all common signs of depression and anxiety. I want you to know you are not alone. I am here to support you and help you through such a challenging time. It is my desire to assist you in learning how to respond appropriately to triggers for better emotional control and to address unresolved trauma that has left you feeling low, empty, and ashamed. I will incorporate biblical/Christian principles, if requested.

Life Coaching Therapists

What can I expect from life coaching?

Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.

Can a life coach help treat anxiety?

Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.

Can life coaching be done online?

Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.

How long does life coaching last?

Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
