Life is full of transitions and sometimes we need help navigating our journey. Sometimes we need a safe nonjudgmental space to explore and work through our concerns, feelings or life issues. Sometimes we just need a quick affirmation that we are on the right path and other times we need help finding the way. My goal is to provide a space where every individual and couple feels heard, accepted and encouraged. I want to provide a personalized approach that helps empower you to have insight, make changes, overcome your life 's obstacles and find balance in your life -mind, body and spirit.

Seeking counseling is a huge step in receiving the help or creating the change that you want in your current situation. Our life experiences and the systems in which we live shape the way we believe about ourselves and the world. Sometimes the negative beliefs manifest themselves into anxiety, depression, addiction, low self-esteem, and relationship issues. This affects the choices we make across our life span from selecting significant others and jobs to diet and what we think we are capable of. Once we start to make these connections and understand ourselves fully, we can finally break free of these thoughts and move forward.

Quoting David Mathis, "Poor listening diminishes another person, while good listening invites them to exist and matter. Positively, then, good listening requires concentration and means we're in with both ears, and that we hear the other person out till they're done speaking. Rarely will the speaker begin with what's most important, and deepest. We need to hear the whole train of thought, all the way to the caboose, before starting across the tracks." Who then should set up an appointment? Ideal clients are males, couples or families seeking life transformation, relationship growth or reconciliation or spiritual formation for life 's journey.

Life can be challenging and at some point, those “challenges” can be a bit more than we know how to tackle on our own. Whether you are simply seeking a healthier lifestyle, focusing on managing relationships, or needing support to get through a life -altering crisis or traumatic event, therapy can help. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, bi-polar disorder, grief or any other issue, there is hope. You may feel hesitant at first to seek assistance, but once you do, you will feel more confident knowing you are taking the beginning steps to a better life and more improved you.

If your life is fully functional, you don't have to struggle to understand why things are the way they are. It is when we hit a wall in our relationships, career or health that we get pushed out of our comfort zone and start looking for answers. People often think that they can deal with all these on their own. However, emotional wellbeing is essentially a two person process as we can only find ourselves in the eye of another. The therapist's questions might bring out the answers in you that will support you in developing a much needed fresh perspective in life .

When I hear this song, I can relate with the idea that there is not one secret to having a fulfilling life , and that it can be rewarding for individuals and couples when they take it one step at a time to figure things out.
Howdy! I am Jesus Arrambide (he/him). I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist-Associate supervised by Lavelda Naylor LMFT-Supervisor (TX Lic. 202002). I graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2022, and have been slowly transitioning from my full-time job as a pharmacy technician to owning my own therapy business in Bryan, Texas. I decided to start my own business, Jesus A Arrambide, PLLC, so that I can offer my clients a broader range of availability like evenings and weekends for both online and in person sessions.

Life Coaching Therapists

What can I expect from life coaching?

Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.

Can a life coach help treat anxiety?

Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.

Can life coaching be done online?

Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.

How long does life coaching last?

Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
