My name is Dr. Larry Watson and I am licensed by the State of Texas to provide mental health services. My clinical degree is the Masters of Science in Social Work. I also hold a PhD degree in public administration. I have practiced social work for over 25 years, working in nonprofit agencies, Universities and private practice.

I am a psychologist who is board certified in sleep medicine. I treat insomnia, virtually any sleeping disorder, and circadian rhythm disorders, in children and adults. I use evidence based medicine approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy of insomnia (CBT-I), CBT for anxiety and depression, and IRT for nightmares and PTSD. I directed the sleep disorders center at Children's Medical Center and the sleep medicine fellowship program at UT Southwestern Medical Center. CBT-I is rapid and efficacious for treatment of insomnia. CBT is also time limited for anxiety and/or depression. IRT works rapidly for nightmares.
