I have special training treating (PTSD) Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, depression and anxiety using (EMDR) Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing.
Research tells us, how to communicate more effectively, what really works to lower depression and anxiety so we can become more "emotional intelligent", and in order to become more successful in our personal relationships and in the workplace. Research is revealing new things about depression, managing anger, anxiety, and what can we do to be happy.

I have experience working with clients 13 and up dealing with past trauma, suicidal ideation, depression and anxiety.
“You are not your mental illness”. Sometimes seeing yourself apart from a diagnosis can be hard. However, I wholeheartedly believe that your diagnosis does not define who you are and hope to instill this idea into you, as my client. My goal as a therapist is to help you to be your best possible self and to encourage you through therapy. I will use CBT, DBT, EMDR, mindfulness and self love techniques. I will push you and encourage you to achieve your goals.

I have gained knowledge working with trauma, abuse, behavioral disorders like ODD, DMDD, IED, self harming behaviors, suicidal thoughts, depression, anxiety, ADHD, health issues, and parent/child relationships.
Are you looking for creative counseling to meet your specific needs? Therapy is not a one size fits all approach. I believe that treatment is collaborative, creative and individualized. I also believe in affordable care and striving for a sense of belongingness that can be accessed through group therapy.

Hello, my name is Danielle. I believe that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all solution. Life is hard, and I hope to provide a safe space for healing. My goal as a therapist is to work with people as they deal with their emotional needs. Therapy is a process that requires a willingness to look inward and explore the good, the bad, and the ugly parts of life. I hope to help people as they navigate these truths.

As a clinical therapist, I work to help children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families manage the struggles and stress of life, as well as those affected by low self-esteem, depression, anger, anxiety, poor communication styles, and trauma.
While my therapeutic approach is eclectic, my methods lean towards solution-focused and person-centered frameworks. Together, we address the issues and concerns that are standing in the way of you living your best life. Sometimes this means we process a past trauma, learn new coping skills, or engage in self-exploration.
