Jordan is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Art Therapist who works from client-centered and solution-focused theories with adolescents and adults who are wanting to instill their individual definition of positive change. She is a passionate advocate of creative expression and utilizes art-making in her sessions. She believes art is another form of communication when words sometimes cannot adequately portray the rawness of our emotions.

I worked in Texas for 30 years and work with adults and teens. I now do only telehealth in TX. I specialize in work with women, the LGBTQ population, and adolescents I enjoy working with women on dealing with stresses in their lives and establishing boundaries that help them cope with the pressures of work and family life balance. I have been excited to work with the LGBTQIA population. I have worked with Trans youth and adults , writing letters and doing work that help with their life. I received a second Masters' (as well as my PHD) in Multicultural Women's and Gender Studies at TWU.

I have worked with individuals with many struggles such as depression, substance use, anxiety, trauma, and bipolar disorder. My niche is in issues such as life transitions, cultural identity, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and self-compassion. I have an affinity towards multicultural, bi/multiracial, minority, and TCK individuals. TCKs, or third culture kids, are individuals who did not grow up in one or both of their parents’ passport country. These are individuals such as military kids, children of diplomats, emigrants, and refugees.

I am an LPC Associate who believes in trusting the process of moment-by-moment, daily transformation. In a safe environment and relaxed body, we can explore emotions understand defenses, and notice the response in our bodies so that we can grow and heal.
