Out of touch. Touched Out. Untouchable. These may be some of the ways you describe yourself or how you feel about people around you. Being unhappy and unsure about these descriptions is normal and ever changing. It doesn’t mean it will be that way forever, and therapy can be a platform to get and stay reconnected. Since becoming a licensed counselor I've invested in ways to meet people where they're at in the most fitting ways possible. It is a great pleasure to partner alongside people exploring how their overall health and habits relate to their relationships with themselves and others.

Update: Starting January 2026, I am no longer accepting CO Medicaid. In my therapeutic work, I endeavor to create an environment that allows my clients to center-out, to breathe, to explore, to undertake, to dare, to dream, to change course, and to reconnect. As a would-be-adventurer with a penchant for curiosities and the unknown, I look forward to embarking on uncharted paths with my clients. In journeying alongside my client, my hope is that upon reaching the trailhead of their path, they're able to look around and exclaim "everything is in its right place."

Adolescence is a time filled with continuous change that can bring unique challenges to each individual, ultimately making this a difficult time for not only teens but families too. Adolescence marks the transition from childhood to adulthood and includes those ages 13-25. It is an intensely important developmental stage in which teens develop a sense of self, independence, boundaries, social connections, communication and emotional regulation skills. Accomplishing these tasks is no easy feat and often conflict arises. This is where I can help!

Is your nervous system constantly overwhelmed, and do you find yourself emotionally flooded in many situations? Your body stays in survival mode, even after the danger is gone and this can feel like anxiety, shutdown, irritability, numbness, feeling on edge. The nervous system learns to scan for threat instead of safety. Your healing involves helping the body relearn regulation, safety, and flexibility so it can move out of survival and back into connection and balance. We understand this is not a personal failure—it’s the body doing its best to survive. Our therapists are here to help gently retrain & restore your nervous system.

Parenting Therapists
What does therapy for parenting look like?
Therapists may work with parents individually, together, or include the whole family to find solutions for the problems a parent faces. Many parent-based therapies work on a parent’s relationship with their children, problem-solving within the family, and analysis of family dynamics. Therapy conducted remotely by video may be helpful in allowing a therapist to observe how families interact in their own homes.

When should a parent seek therapy?
When behavioral problems begin to disrupt the healthy functioning of a family, it may be a good time to look into therapy. If parents find that children are acting out in school, have started using drugs or alcohol, have developed eating disorders, or other similar red flags, a therapist may be able to help.

How long does therapy take for parenting problems?
Depending on the severity of a family’s challenges and the type of treatment utilized, therapy for parenting can last from weeks to months. Cognitive behavioral therapy is a pragmatic therapy type that can be brief, most often ranging from between 5 and 20 sessions. Structural family therapy, which inspects family dynamics, often takes several months. Parent-child interaction therapy is typically shorter-term, lasting between 10 and 20 sessions. For any therapy, the duration will depend on the progress made and results realized.

Can therapy help parents dealing with burnout or stress?
Parenting is difficult. Parents may dismiss or conceal feelings of exhaustion, overwhelm, or escape ideation—imagining withdrawing from their parental obligations altogether. but left unattended, these feelings can have negative effects on the whole family. A therapist can help parents work on the skills they might need to better cope with the burdens of parenting and help them be the best parents they can be.
