Do you struggle with substance use affecting every aspect of your day-to-day life?
We start by assessing what you would like to change. We collaborate on a strategic plan, and then we establish a system of accountability. You are not expected to do this on your own with nothing more than a weekly counseling visit to stay on track. It's a process that requires a significant daily effort (if you want to get results!)

I also help folks who might be struggling with Gender Identity/Sexuality, Substance Use and Mood Disorders.
Relationships can be difficult to navigate, both with others and with oneself, and not having the right tools can make a difficult job even more challenging! Add to this day-to-day life events and unprocessed trauma, and it can be easy to feel like things will not get better, leaving you feeling empty and hopeless. I want to be there on your journey by holding a safe space for you, helping you process your thoughts and feelings, learning who you are and what you need, and supporting you as you learn new skills, strengthen the ones you already have, process your trauma safely, and develop and/or nurture healthy relationships.

Seeking help is the first step towards feeling better. Regardless of why you are seeking help, the most important thing right now is that you are making the choice to do so. Focusing on what we can control (instead of what is beyond our control) is often a key element to working through difficult life circumstances. Together, we can work on learning and developing skills that can help you improve the quality of your life. My main focus during therapy will be to help you lead a more fulfilling life by working with you collaboratively to achieve your goals.
