I specialize in children and teens with a history of trauma, explosive behaviors, or attachment difficulties. I connect well with grumpy boys, kiddos who are shy or struggling to fit in, creative/quirky types, and confused parents wondering: how do I help? Together, we'll identify strengths and make progress that can be celebrated to increase self confidence and motivation. I will provide tools and support to empower you to understand why behaviors might be happening and to create change. I also work with adults exploring their neurodivergence and inner child wounds through talk, art, sand tray, and other expressive modalities.

I believe life can be challenging enough as is, without having to navigate it with anxiety, depression and racing thoughts. I believe reaching out for help, or just someone to talk to, is the most important thing you can do. Life is stressful, life is messy and sometimes having someone to talk to can help clear your head. Please don’t overthink things, don’t spend hours looking for the “perfect therapist, and over analyze the therapy process. I’m here to help, just reach out that’s the first step!

I specialize in work with clients who have complex trauma, DID/OSDD, Autism, and/or ADHD. My clients are often misunderstood by others and experience issues with self-esteem, critical self-talk, and shame. Neurodivergence often isolates my clients, creating environments that can lead to trauma and make it hard to connect with others. Trauma can show up in a lot of ways, with varying levels of dissociation, people pleasing tendencies, substance use, and much more. It can feel like wading through an ocean of complexity and struggle, without many others who can understand their experiences or see them for who they really are.

Whether it’s surges of weekly anxiety, disturbing thoughts and memories that just won't go away, or the inability to feel good about ourselves after achieving all we set out to do, my clients have hit a wall and their coping skills just aren't working anymore.

I am also fat positive, sex positive, neurodiversity affirming, LGBTQIA+ affirming, poly, ethical non monogamy, and kink affirming and am allied with those engaged in sex work.
When seeking care, nothing is scarier to transgender and non binary folx than winding up with a provider who is poorly informed about the issues that face our community. From understanding discrimination and harassment and the various intersectionalities of our personhood to the process of transitioning and navigating this process, having a mental health provider who is affirming and competent makes a huge difference, whether your current mental health concerns are or aren't related to your gender.

Things kind of suck right now, don't they? At the time of writing this, the world feels like it's a dumpster fire. If you're like me though, things have always felt rough internally and connection has never been easy. I hope to offer connection and unconditional positive regard for anyone whose ever felt like they're on the outside looking in. The vision I hold for all clients is to know they are worthy and valid exactly as they are in this moment, and my role is to hold that belief for you until you can hold it yourself. I practice from an anti-racist, relational cultural, fat-positive, and affirming lens.

I enjoy working with a variety of individuals and couples including but not limited to individuals with non-traditional relationships (I.e. poly/open), premarital couples, alternative sexuality (I.e. kink/fetish), communication challenges, family and relationship dynamics, issues related to sex and sexuality, low self-esteem, depression, and anxiety.
It feels like you're no longer connecting or not connecting in a way that feels fulfilling with yourself or your partner(s). You feel you have said everything you can to help the other person understand your needs and wants with hope that something will change. You don't know how it's gotten so painful. It's starting to feel a little helpless that you'll be able to have the connection you once hoped. You feel you need a safe place to explore current and past struggles to reunite the spark in yourself and/or together. Lets replace the ineffective strategies with new ways of seeing yourself and other important people in your life.

I love working with couples because so much real change is possible. My role is to help you move through the stuck and painful places in your relationship — not by smoothing things over, but by helping you see clearly, communicate honestly, and relate differently.
I specialize in working with couples who have reached an impasse and want to understand and shift long-standing relational patterns. This often involves exploring family histories, unmet needs, and the ways people-pleasing, conflict avoidance, codependency, or self-abandonment may be shaping your dynamic.

Our experiences, especially the difficult ones, can deeply affect how we think, feel, and relate to others. Therapy offers a space to understand those patterns and begin to heal. You may find yourself stuck in old patterns, feeling distant in your relationships, or carrying a sense of disconnection from yourself. It might be hard to feel safe, confident, or fully present in daily life. Deep down, you want to feel more grounded, more at ease, and more connected—to yourself, to others, and to the life you imagine for yourself.

I approach therapy with the intent to get to know you on a core level. This includes understanding your feelings, thoughts, behaviors, desires, and relationships. We then collaboratively use this information to make meaning of your experiences both past and present. I pay attention to your emotional presence and seek to understand how your past experiences may be leading you to protect yourself from vulnerability and uncomfortable feelings. This understanding can help you engage more actively with yourself and enriches your interpersonal relationships.

I see therapy as a collaboration between myself and my client. I bring experience, knowledge, empathy, and compassion but I always want to work with you towards what YOU feel is the most important. I value your strengths, insights, and the wisdom of your lived experiences. I love to work with clients who are ready to work together, to give feedback, to try new things, and to engage in honest self discovery. Life brings pain to everyone- but I also believe that we can find resilience even during extremely painful times.

Maybe you're an individual feeling stuck by past trauma or a couple seeking deeper connection. You want to understand yourself better, build healthier relationships, and reclaim your narrative in a space where all parts of you are welcome.

Many people come to therapy because they want things to feel different, even if they aren't sure how yet. Maybe anxiety keeps you overthinking, relationships feel harder than they should, or you're carrying experiences that continue to affect how you see yourself and others. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling frustrated that they understand their struggles intellectually but still find themselves repeating the same patterns. Therapy is hear to help you understand yourself, not create more rules to live by. My goal is not to "fix" you. It's to help you build a healthier relationship with yourself.
