The adults and couples I often work with are folks who, in their pursuit to “have it all,” are feeling stuck, lonely, and at times may feel overwhelmed by a harsh inner critic. Often times, my clients are introspective, deep thinkers and deep feelers, who want to do what's best for them and their loved ones, but struggle to find the right balance between the two for themselves.

Everyone goes through moments in life when they feel overwhelmed, lost, confused, frustrated, sad worried or just plain stuck. Perhaps it has to do with problems at work, conflict in a relationship or feeling dissatisfied with something else in life. I became a therapist because I wanted to help people through those times of need or challenge in their lives. My goal is to help my clients uncover the roots of their distress and develop the ability to use their unique attributes to face challenges and make changes in their lives.

I work with teens and young adults who are dealing with things like eating disorders, body image struggles, anxiety, mood challenges, relationship stress, or big life transitions. They may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to break old patterns, and are looking for guidance and support in a space that feels warm and understanding. In our work together, we’ll take time to explore what’s been coming up for them, make sense of patterns, and support healing in a way that feels doable and compassionate.

Are you feeling stretched thin — caring for everyone else while trying to hold yourself together? Maybe you’re doing everything you can to balance work or school while managing chronic illness, chronic pain, or family responsibilities and that inner voice still is saying "it's not enough." You deserve to be seen and supported.
I’m Natalia, a Latina therapist who works with adults navigating trauma (medical, intergenerational, childhood, etc), chronic illness and chronic pain, and caregiving stress. Many of the people I support are adults who are used to putting others first and feel burned out, anxious, or stuck in survival mode.

I have served the field of psychology in the following ways: as a tenured professor specializing in ethics and multicultural training, on the Board of Trustees for the Texas Psychological Association, as president of the Society for the Psychology of Women of the American Psychological Association, on the executive boards for the Society for the Psychological Study of Culture, Ethnicity of the American Psychological Association and the National Latino Psychological Association.
Individuals, couples, and families who come to my office are generally in some sort of pain or discomfort, moving back and forth between what is happening in their lives and what they want from life. Our conversations help shed light on why this is happening and what we can do to help you feel better. Although I use a variety of psychotherapeutic methods in my practice, the foundation of my work is in the relationship we create, the trust we establish, and the compassion we share.
I welcome you to my practice.

My ideal clients are adults and older adults, individuals, couples, or families feeling intensely disconnected or stuck in patterns that create distance, conflict, or confusion. They may be navigating intimacy, sex, trust, identity, or communication—sometimes within non-monogamous relationships, sometimes while healing from ruptures or rediscovering emotional closeness. I especially love my work within the alternative, queer, and LGBTQ+ community.
People don’t come to me to be "fixed"—they come because they need something different, and they want someone who’s not afraid to be there with them.

If you feel like you’re expected to do it all, and carry more than your share, I may be able to help. Many of my clients feel stuck in one-sided relationships with friends, family, or coworkers, or find themselves repeating painful patterns and wondering, “Is something wrong with me?” Together, we can explore these questions and work toward deeper, more satisfying connections; with others and with yourself.

Hello and ¡bienvenido! I’m Daniel, a bilingual, English-Spanish clinical social worker, and the fact that you're reading this means you're looking to take a courageous step forward in your journey toward wellness and healing. My work with people who are incarcerated has taught me that no one is a “lost cause.” I believe that you are more than the worst thing you've ever done and you can overcome the worst thing you've ever experienced. My approach with clients stems from this belief. Change and growth can feel difficult, which is why I'll challenge you but do so with grace and compassion.
