I have over 10 years working in the educational field, supporting families and career driven individuals.
If you’re first-gen, a child of immigrants, or neurodivergent — this space is for you. You’re out here translating for everybody, carrying family expectations, trying to stay grounded while figuring out who you are. And honestly? It gets heavy. I see you. I lived that life too. With me, you don’t have to explain the cultural stuff — I already get it. Therapy here is real, down-to-earth, and focused on curiosity, compassion, and letting go of what’s not yours to carry. If you’re ready for a space where you can breathe, unlearn, and grow without judgment — I got you :)

Do you have trouble concentrating or sleeping because you spend time worrying you either said or did something wrong, or you will in the future? Is anger becoming your go-to reaction in the face of frustration or being disregarded? Not sure how to make tough decisions in relationships or at work? These are some common concerns I hear from clients. We will work together to make sense of these experiences and plan a way toward the goals you want to reach.

My ideal client is someone who feels stuck, whether due to trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, or a significant life transition. They seek a space to explore their feelings, experiences, and stories without judgment. They may have experienced childhood wounds, workplace stress, or religious trauma and want to move forward but aren’t sure how. They aim to heal from the past and develop tools to navigate the present and future better. They’re ready to do the work, even if it feels daunting, and they value the process of understanding themselves more deeply.

The lion's share of folks that I get the privilege to help are struggling with perfectionism or social anxiety. The pressure we put on ourselves can give us superpowers in competitive workplaces, but it also cuts the other way making success feel dull and mistakes feel like an illness that overtakes us. The treatment I offer typically allows people to graduate within 3-6 months and is meant to offer permanent lifestyle changes rather than short-term fixes or coping skills. We'll set KPI's for therapy in the first session to prepare for success.

I also provide ADHD/autism assessments (formal and informal) to support clients seeking clarity and diagnosis and help clients improve emotional regulation, focus, self-advocacy, and career fulfillment.
Do you often feel misunderstood, overwhelmed, or like you're constantly trying to fit into a world that wasn’t designed for your brain? Maybe you're navigating a late diagnosis of ADHD or autism, struggling with executive dysfunction, or feeling burnt out from masking and trying to “keep up.” I get it because I’ve lived it too. As a neurodivergent therapist, I understand what it’s like to feel out of sync in a neurotypical world. Therapy with me isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about helping you reconnect with your strengths, build practical tools, and create a life that works for your brain, not against it.

Are you moving through a time of change or transition? Maybe you feel stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, exhausted? Life transitions can take many forms. Some examples include: shifting a painful relationship dynamic (with your family, work, body image, people pleasing, etc), navigating/changing careers, college, navigating grief and loss, break-ups/divorce, and existential issues. The people I see often identify with some or all of the following: high performers, creatives, neurodiverse (ADHD, HSPs, etc), difficult family of origin, wonder about life's big questions, a loud, sneaky inner critic, and a history that includes some trauma.

Career Counseling Therapists
How do I know if I need career counseling?
Determining whether a career counselor is needed involves assessing one's current career and identifying what changes can be made to improve one's overall quality of life. In particular, feelings of loss of motivation, fatigue, anxiety, depression, procrastination, or ongoing levels of high stress can all be indicative of a need for career-related counseling. In addition, individuals changing jobs may want the decision-making support or self-reflection opportunities provided by a career counselor.

Who can benefit from career counseling?
Anyone can benefit from the self-reflection, skill development, and stress management techniques that career counseling can provide. However, individuals who are feeling overwhelmed or burnt out with their current job and individuals considering a major career change may particularly benefit from career counseling to improve their wellbeing. Additionally, individuals who are facing issues in their current job, such as coworker relationship challenges or not meeting performance goals, may benefit from the perspective that a career counselor can provide. College-age or young professionals may also uniquely benefit from career counseling as they make key decisions surrounding education and job training that will impact their career trajectory.

How long does career counseling typically last?
The length of career counseling can vary greatly depending on the needs of the individual and what type of support they are seeking. Career coaching or advising services—which serve clients in a specific, goal-oriented capacity—often last for a shorter duration and are sometimes only a single session or a few sessions in length. In contrast, career counseling as part of a more integrative therapeutic relationship with a counselor may last longer, particularly if the issues faced by the client are longstanding and/or more complex in nature; in such cases, individuals may expect therapy to last multiple months or longer.

How to prepare for career counseling?
Clients can prepare for career counseling sessions by outlining the specific topics they would like to address with the counselor, such as current job challenges or hopes for the future of their career. Compiling one's thoughts on such topics often requires reflection on one's career and future goals, which in itself can be beneficial for session preparation. Clients may also want to put together a list of questions they would like to ask the counselor, particularly if the career counselor they are seeing has particular expertise in a given career area. Conducting research into potential future jobs, training opportunities, or support resources in one's area may also help clients prepare for career counseling by providing them with a background of what resources are available in their area.
