I work with creative minds and big personalities, with dreamers and doers, with tender hearted old souls, with those who are shedding trauma and shame, imagining new worlds and ways of being, and practicing unmasking and living authentically. For those who have carried grief on their backs and magic in their bones.
Those who’ve been told they’re too much or too little, too loud or too soft, too sensitive or too tough. You are just the right amount of you. You have a right to exist, as is, right now, fully, fiercely, and unapologetically.

Accepting new clients for in-person. We all encounter major stress and loss and often we recover well on our own. Sometimes life becomes overwhelming, confusing and too big to process alone. You can reach out for support, and you don’t have to do it alone. Through therapy, you have the power to focus on what helps you learn and grow. I am passionate about helping clients connect to their core values in therapy. We'll use mindfulness-based therapies to help you become aware of thoughts and behaviors that prevent you from experiencing a joyful and authentic life. I enjoy using humor, creativity and self-compassion in my practice.

You're the one who keeps it together—until you can’t. You’ve spent your life being “the strong one,” the helper, the one who makes sure everyone else is okay. But inside, you're exhausted. Maybe you shut down, zone out, spiral in self-doubt, or snap when it all feels too much. If this sounds familiar, you're not broken and you're not alone. I help adults living with developmental trauma, dissociation, burnout, and people-pleasing patterns using a grounded, creative, body-based approach. I want to help you feel safe being you.

Personal distress has many sources: difficult circumstances, lack of fulfillment, relationship struggles, painful past, and barriers to better behavior. And distress shows up in many forms: anxiety, depression, anger, destructive acting out, substance abuse, and physical symptoms. It is difficult for us to view ourselves with objectivity. Family and friends, though well meaning, often have their own agendas. An educated and confidential third party can be the answer. Drawing from many therapeutic traditions and years of experience, I will help you understand and make corrections to your life that promote growth and happiness.

I support children and teens who need a space to process difficult emotions, navigate social situations, and build a stronger sense of self as well as identity. Using a trauma‑informed, strengths‑based approach, I offer play therapy as a safe, developmentally appropriate space to express feelings, practice social navigation, and build regulation. I collaborate with caregivers through parent coaching, working alongside you to rebuild connection, set compassionate limits, learn healthy parenting strategies that support your child's emotional security, and increase attunement so families feel safer and more resilient.

Life can feel confusing, overwhelming, and just plain exhausting - especially when you’ve been carrying heavy stories or expectations for years. Whether you’re dealing with ADHD, anxiety, perfectionism, people pleasing, questions around identity, or navigating a big life change, I want you to know: you don’t have to hold it all by yourself. In sessions with me, we’ll slow things down and make space for all the parts of you - your thoughts, emotions, body, and story. I’ll show up as a real person, not a blank slate. I believe laughter, warmth, and honesty belong in the room just as much as tears and silence.

You’re the one everyone relies on—steady, capable, and always holding it together. But inside, you’re exhausted. The stress never really shuts off, and even rest feels like another task. You second-guess yourself, avoid conflict, and pour energy into others while neglecting your own needs. Relationships feel uneven, and no matter how much you achieve, peace still feels out of reach. You want relief from the constant pressure—to feel calm, grounded, and finally at home in your own life. You’re ready to stop living in survival mode and start feeling like yourself again. You just need a space where it’s safe to exhale.

Are you terrified of starting therapy because of judgment of a "non-traditional" lifestyle, relationship, or job? Are you exhausted by the demands of a system that never seems to give you a break? Are you experiencing feelings of guilt and shame of starting this journey because growing up your concerns were minimized or taking care of yourself was viewed as selfish?

Over the course of my career, I have worked with various populations of adolescent, teen, and adult clients in the mental health field. I can honestly say that I love what I do and always find a unique way to connect with each client. I believe it is important to approach each individual I meet with an intersectional and unbiased lens and to construct a treatment plan and therapy approach that is aligned with not just their specific mental health needs, but their personality, sense of humor, and values.

Bisexual Therapists

What is bisexual-affirming therapy?

Bisexual-affirming therapy is a type of mental health support that fully affirms and reflects a client’s bisexual identity. It is rooted in acceptance and does not attempt to change or question an individual’s orientation. In this type of therapy, clients work with a therapist who understands the unique experiences of bisexual people. This support is especially important, as research shows that bisexual individuals face higher rates of anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation compared to other groups. Bisexual-affirming therapy acknowledges that bisexual individuals may encounter specific stressors—such as invalidation, relationship challenges, and minority stress—that require specialized understanding and intervention. Many therapists also provide couples therapy for bisexual partners, helping them navigate relationship dynamics, communication challenges, or external stressors that may impact their relationship.

While not required, some clients prefer working with bisexual therapists who may bring personal insight to the therapeutic relationship. However, a non-bisexual therapist with strong training and a genuine commitment to affirmation can be equally effective. The most important factor is finding a therapist who understands how identity impacts mental health and can create a space of trust and respect.

What can a bisexual therapist help with?

Bisexual-affirming therapists can provide support across a wide range of concerns relevant to bisexual individuals. Whether through personal or professional experience, they often have specialized knowledge in areas such as the coming out process, navigating stereotypes, and dealing with common stressors. Relationship support is another key area of focus, as bisexual clients may face unique challenge when dating or maintaining relationships across genders. Affirming therapists can also help clients build coping strategies for managing discrimination or stigma.

Additionally, many bisexual-affirming therapists can connect clients to other providers or community-based resources—such as bisexual support groups or LGBTQ+ organizations—that offer additional affirming spaces for connection. It's important to note that therapists provide can talk therapy and counseling services but do not prescribe medication—if medication is needed for conditions like depression or anxiety, they will coordinate care with a psychiatrist or primary care physician who can provide psychiatric medication management alongside therapeutic support.

How do I find a bisexual therapist?

The Psychology Today online directory is a helpful tool for finding bisexual-affirming therapists. You can use search filters to identify therapists who specialize in LGBTQ+ care and work specifically with bisexual clients. You can also filter by clinical specialties, therapeutic approaches, accepted insurance, session costs, and languages spoken to find the right fit.

During initial consultations or early sessions, ask potential therapists about their specific training in bisexual-affirming care, their experience with LGBTQ+ clients, and their therapeutic approach to identity-related concerns. An effective bisexual-affirming therapist will demonstrate genuine understanding of bisexual experiences, including awareness of the unique challenges facing bisexual individuals. You can also look for credentials or continuing education in areas such as LGBTQ+ mental health, trauma-informed care, and intersectionality.
