My ideal clients are individuals navigating the impact of trauma, difficult relationships, major life transitions, or simply seeking therapy to help navigate the challenges of every day life! Many come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns of anxiety or self-doubt, often after experiencing invalidation, harmful dynamics in past or current relationships, or disconnection from their sense of self. In our work together, we'll focus on helping you process past experiences, better understand your internal world, and develop tools to feel more grounded in values-based decision making.

Maybe you’re grieving a death, relationship, or version of life you thought you’d have. Maybe anxiety, ADHD, or a major transition has left you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or wondering, “Am I doing enough?” You may be used to holding it together for everyone else while privately feeling exhausted. I work with teens and adults who want a place where they don’t have to perform, have the right words, or make their experiences more palatable. Together, we’ll make room for what hurts, understand what’s underneath it, and find ways forward that actually feel like you.

Something brought you here, and whatever it is, I take it seriously. People come to therapy at different moments: when something has broken open, when a long-standing pattern has finally become unbearable, when relationships that matter aren't working, or simply when they sense that the life they're living doesn't quite match the one they're capable of. All of it is worth attending to.

Often, when we experience abuse, trauma, or hardship we learn the best way to protect ourselves is to put on a mask, hide, pretend or please others. We find safety in these coping mechanisms and after a while we lose sight of who we really are. But that real person is still there waiting for the day you're ready to do more than survive. This is where I come in. My calling is to aid those who are scared to be seen find the freedom to fully know, understand and reclaim who they truly are, as well as, build fully authentic and connected relationships with others.

Is your Google Search Bar all too familiar with the searches, “Do I need counseling” or “Symptoms of depression/anxiety”? You know something is off but aren’t sure exactly what it is. Asking for help, saying no, and talking about the tough stuff tend to be at the top of your "No thanks" list, but you know deep down that thing (or several things) from your past keeps creeping up more and more often. Maybe you’ve noticed that your relationships are starting to feel like cycles, or your self-worth is running low. You’re wanting to feel confident, achieve goals, and get out of the funk that some emotions seem to put you in.

As humans, we are constantly challenged by the imperfections and expectations of society. It can be confusing, discouraging, and at times can dim the light within us. It can also make us feel lost and disconnected from ourselves and others. Investing in yourself is the best way to overcome these challenges and learn more about your thoughts, behaviors, beliefs, and values.

I work with couples and individuals toward transformational change. When you’re facing a problem, we work to discover the root cause and bring healing there. When the root is healed, the symptoms disappear. I've trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Coherence Therapy, and Somatic Experiencing. I take great joy in helping people become the fullest version of themselves. Some of the freshest, most sublime and transformative moments of my life are ones in which connection sparks deep change, welcoming more of someone into the world. For me, therapy is a sacred act.

Excited to chat about your sex addiction, porn addiction & intimacy issues? If you said "yes," you'd be the first. Unfortunately, these issues may be running your life. And that corrosive shame deep in your bones? It's likely rooted in trauma (I'll be shocked if it's not). Fortunately, through parts work, EMDR & other modalities, we can heal emotional wounds and move you toward recovery and wholeness. I also work with couples because I learned in grad school that, apparently, relationships are hard. There's betrayal trauma, infidelity, mismatched libidos, the fact that your partner talks to his mom eight times a day…
