Thanks for taking time to view my information. I try to be what I would look for in a psychologist: someone who is tactful, cares about the person, and responds with both knowledge and compassion. You will find me to be interactive. I will not sit silently or simply reflect what you just said. I will let you know my perceptions and discuss research, making suggestions on ways to feel better. I tend to focus both on your emotions and your thoughts. You will do most of the talking, but you will get a genuine reaction from me.

As a parent, you often wonder if you’re getting it right. You might be noticing some concerning changes in your child, or maybe your family has just gone through something that shook your world. You may be exhausted by the emotional rollercoaster or wondering if you are enough. It might even be hard to remember when things got this way, or remember how things used to be. To be sure, you are ready for relief. You’re ready to feel more peace, and have confidence that you and your child have the support you need. Most of all, you’re ready to enjoy and connect with your children in deeper ways.

Therapy offers a framework to expand what is possible within ourselves, within relationships, and within the context of painful realities. Many of the people I see are recovering from difficult experiences and wanting to explore unresolved concerns. Often this process includes grieving what is impossible to change and inviting and working towards new experiences.

Do you find yourself thinking, “What did I just get myself into?” or “am I really ready to dig this deep?” If that’s where your mind goes, know that you are not alone. When you first start therapy, it can feel like a whirlwind. Feeling nervous or even wanting to back out is completely normal. But here’s the thing, you don’t have to do this alone. I’m here to challenge you but also to walk with you, step by step, as you navigate this tough place. Therapy isn’t always easy, but when you commit to showing up for yourself, you’ll be amazed at how far you can go. The growth is real, but it starts with you choosing YOU.

I draw from Person-Centered, Psychodynamic, and Attachment-Based approaches.
Hi! Have you ever found yourself stuck in the same patterns, wondering, “Why does this keep happening?” You see where you could have done things different, but still feel pulled into the same cycles, worries, or relationship dynamics. This can feel frustrating, confusing, or discouraging. In therapy, we can slow things down and get curious about what’s happening beneath the surface, without judgement. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, people-pleasing, ADHD, life transitions, and grief. If this resonates, schedule a free 30-minute consultation so we can connect and see if we might be a good fit.

If you're reading this, there's a good chance you're someone who looks like you have it together. You show up, you handle things, you take care of the people around you. But underneath that, you might be carrying anxiety you can't quite name, a sense of hypervigilance that never fully switches off, or a quiet feeling of disconnection from yourself. Maybe you already know the word "trauma" applies to your story. Maybe you're not sure yet, but something in you knows it's time to look closer.

I have a decade of experience working with women who experience anxiety, panic, physical discomfort, low self-esteem, and relationship stress. A specialty of mine is helping women heal from the effects of emotional neglect. I look beyond thought patterns and explore what’s happening emotionally. I’ll help you recognize emotional patterns, process feelings that may have been bottled up, and develop greater capacity to navigate difficult moments without becoming overwhelmed. When appropriate, I may incorporate Brainspotting to support deeper processing of experiences that feel difficult to move through.

I work with individuals who seek to truly understand themselves and what drives their behaviors. Exploring one’s inner world with curiosity and compassion makes up an important first step to healing. When an individual’s inner and outer selves are aligned and unacknowledged pain is surfaced, one is freed up to heal and live more fully and honestly. You may have a sense that bits and pieces of yourself have been suppressed or dismissed along the way. My approach to therapy will help you retrieve and re-integrate these important parts of yourself so that you can feel whole and fulfilled.

I align with a non-pathologizing approach to therapy. This means that I view “symptoms” as traits or behaviors that our minds and bodies have adopted to protect us from further harm. During traumatic experiences, often parts of ourself dissociate the mind from the body as a form of protection. While this helps us to survive in the moment, dissociation can happen long after the trauma has ended, keeping us out of the present moment, activating feelings from the past.
