I work with couples/individuals stuck in unhealthy communication patterns, negative thought patterns, and feeling disconnected by helping them to develop secure attachments and safety in their relationships, using EFT and CBT. I use Narrative Therapy and SFBT for those who want brief or long-term therapy. Individuals with underlying traumas that are impacting their relationships, helping them to process and adjust, using CBT, EMDR, and WET. I also help clients learn balance with the belief that clients must be willing to identify or trace back where things got off track and then be open to change.

It takes courage to take the first step and reach out for help. I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where you are able to share your story. Maybe you are dealing with relationship concerns like a change in your family situation. Maybe you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or depressed. Maybe you are trying to overcome a past experience, trauma or struggles with family, life transitions, friends or school. My goal is for you to feel honored, valued and heard. All of these topics can be tough but talking with someone can help. I would be honored to help you with any of your worries or concerns.

You go to bed at night and wake up the next morning still feeling ashamed, stuck, and afraid of not being able to reach your utmost potential. You’re harder on yourself than with others who have similiar struggles. By changing your thought process and self talk, you are then able to take action. As your therapist, we will collaborate on becoming your own best friend by creating a path in finding balance between holding yourself accountable for your own actions and beating yourself up to the point of being immobilized and isolated. My passion is walking beside you and learning ways to embrace yourself in feeling positive change.

Are you a woman who feels anxious, overwhelmed, or quietly disappointed with how life has unfolded? You may look capable on the outside, but inside feel tired of overthinking, carrying too much, or reacting in ways you wish you could change. Many of the women I work with are responsible and high functioning, yet internally exhausted. They want relief from constant worry, clarity in their decisions, healthier relationships, and a steadier sense of confidence in daily life. Many are seeking anxiety treatment or support in trauma recovery but are unsure where to begin.

I’m Linda, and like many of the people I work with, I’ve faced my own seasons of struggle ; from divorce and abuse to codependency, stress, and family challenges. Therapy helped me heal, and that journey shaped the counselor I am today. My goal is to “pay it forward” by offering the same safe space and support to others. I hold a BS in Psychology and an MS in Counseling Mental Health. I’m licensed as both a Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), and I’m nationally certified (NCC). Each credential adds to my ability to walk alongside you with empathy, experience, and practical tools for real change.

If you're newly postpartum, life now is likely very different. Whether you are in love or feeling disconnected, you and your body have been through a lot. If you're struggling with anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, obsessions, compulsions, or the stress that comes with a major life change... I am here to help you feel like yourself again and navigate this new chapter in your life.

Hi! I am so glad you're here! Life has a way of throwing us off course, often when we least expect it. In those moments, we may find ourselves withdrawing from the people we love or caught in painful patterns that leave us feeling disconnected, misunderstood, or even unloved. I believe that healing happens in the context of safe, supportive relationships and therapy can be one of those places. Whether you're coming in as an individual or as part of a couple or family, my goal is to offer a space where you feel seen, heard, and cared for.

Life can be beautiful, but it can also bring moments of uncertainty, self-doubt, and emotional pain. You might find yourself questioning your choices, losing confidence, or feeling disconnected from the things that once brought you joy. Maybe anxiety or depression has left you feeling stuck or overwhelmed, and your relationships— with family, friends, colleagues, or your partner— are suffering as a result. If you're a woman navigating these challenges, know that you're not alone. Many of my clients are high-achieving, caring women who feel like they're always holding it together for everyone else, yet inside they feel exhausted.

FAQ - Therapist Gender
Does it matter what gender my therapist is?
In general, there is no relationship between a therapist’s gender and their efficacy. Some clients, however, prefer to see therapists of a particular gender, whether due to their own past experiences with men and women, or because they feel more comfortable with a therapist of their own gender due to shared life experiences or perspectives. Considering what one wants to address in therapy can help someone determine whether their therapist’s gender may matter or improve their therapeutic experience. The most important consideration is that a client is able to build a trusting relationship with their therapist.

Should I see a female therapist?
Many people—not just women—prefer to see a female therapist. For women, this could be because they believe that they will be able to better connect with a woman, and that a female therapist will be able to relate to their specific challenges and personal issues. It may be particularly beneficial for women to see a female therapist, for example, for gender-specific issues, such as sexism in the workplace, relationship issues, and gender roles. The most important factor in therapy is the client-therapist connection, and a therapist's gender as well as many other factors may play an important role in this.

Do therapists get specific training to help with women’s concerns?
Therapists are trained to provide care to clients of any gender. However, some therapists may pursue additional training in feminist therapy, gender-specific issues, or women’s mental health. Female clients may wish to ask prospective therapists whether they have received specific training in the client’s primary area(s) of concern, or whether they have worked extensively with women on issues similar to their own.

How can I inquire about a therapist’s experience in treating women?
It’s OK—even encouraged!—to ask a therapist directly whether and how often they have treated women in the past, or whether they have treated women dealing with the client’s most prominent concern(s). Competent therapists will be happy to share their educational background, preferred treatment modalities, and prior client experience to help an individual find the therapist best suited to their needs.
