I work with couples/individuals stuck in unhealthy communication patterns, negative thought patterns, and feeling disconnected by helping them to develop secure attachments and safety in their relationships, using EFT and CBT.
Thoughts, feelings, and behaviors can all change, but can you accept that? Or would you prefer a life where things constantly felt "off," and you weren't your best self? And it showed up in many areas of your life. Change can be as simple as being open to growth, healthy communication, self-acceptance, and improving interpersonal relationships.

My work in counseling has focused heavily on serving those wrestling with anxiety and in walking with couples through marriage difficulties.
For nearly a decade, I’ve had the privilege of working with children and adolescents from traumatic backgrounds, including those affected by abuse and neglect. That formative experience shaped my approach to counseling, which emphasizes understanding the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. My clinical focus includes the treatment of anxiety-related disorders—such as phobias, OCD, PTSD, social anxiety, panic disorder, and generalized anxiety. I also work with individuals navigating depression and challenges related to ADHD.

I work with women who feel overwhelmed by the pressure to balance career, relationships, and motherhood.
In our sessions, there’s no judgment—just real support. I’ll help you find tools and strategies that actually fit your life, not someone else’s idea of how it “should” look. I know how much trust and energy it takes to show up for therapy, and I take that seriously. This is your time, your space, and your story.

I work best with clients who feel stuck—those who’ve tried therapy, medication, or even hospitalization, but still struggle with trauma, anxiety, depression, or the effects of a brain injury. They want relief, clarity, and a way forward that doesn’t rely on effort or endless talk. They’re seeking real change, not just coping. I understand that need deeply because I’ve lived it. My ideal client is ready for something different—gentle, neuroscience-based care that meets them where they are and helps them reclaim their life.

I believe therapy works best when it feels real, collaborative, and grounded in trust. My style is thoughtful and direct—I’ll meet you with compassion while helping you do the deeper work that leads to real change. Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor sessions to you and what you’re actually navigating.

There is no roadmap to guide us through life. When things happen, there is no set of instructions on how to emotionally navigate various situations. Whether you are experiencing stress, emotional pain, relational struggles, or just need support, I am here to help.

You look successful on the outside, but inside you're exhausted from carrying everyone else's needs, questioning your worth, and wondering why the same painful relationship patterns keep repeating.
In our first session, you can expect more than a listening ear—you can expect clarity. Together, we'll begin exploring not only what is happening in your life right now, but also the deeper emotional patterns that may be keeping you stuck. My goal is not just to help you feel better, but to help you understand the root cause of your pain and begin to heal it

FAQ - About Couples Therapy
Does couples counseling work?
Research shows that couples counseling is effective; it can reduce relationship distress and improve emotional awareness, communication, empathy, intimacy, and overall relationship satisfaction. For example, emotionally focused therapy was found to be effective for about 75 percent of couples, and those benefits lasted at least two years.

When should a couple seek counseling?
Couples can benefit from counseling if they consistently struggle in their relationship. They may have lost the ability to communicate effectively, become entrenched in harmful patterns, begun to fight more than usual, broken the other’s trust, suffered from a mental or physical illness, or faced any number of other challenges. Many therapists offer free consultations, so if a couple isn’t sure whether therapy is necessary, asking directly can provide clarity.

How can I get my partner to go to couples therapy?
The decision to seek couples therapy is often driven by one partner, who then convinces the other to participate. When discussing the idea, the initiator should be direct and assertive. They can state the problems they see and explain how the relationship would benefit from therapy. In more serious cases, they can also explain how their relationship may suffer without making any changes or seeking professional help.

How does a couple prepare for couples counseling?
The anticipation of beginning couples counseling can be difficult—sometimes more difficult than the first session itself. Taking a few moments to reflect can allay those concerns: What are the current challenges? When and how did they begin? What do they want the relationship to look like in the future? Reflecting on these questions can help individuals or couples articulate their goals. Of course, the therapist will also ask questions and guide couples through the process.
