My name is Sue Celaya, I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor based in Pittsburg, Kansas, and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I mostly work with adults in individual counseling. I specialize in anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder using a mixture of Supportive Psychotherapy, CBT, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy. My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each client I work with. I most frequently use Supportive Psychotherapy and CBT to build a solid counseling relationship with my clients.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy is used primarily with clients who are struggling with complex trauma, post-traumatic stress, dissociation, depression and anxiety.
A combination of these modalities helps me, and the client have a good understanding of their needs and allows us to work together to find what’s really important for the client to move forward toward a balanced life.
