I'm unconventional, I've been practicing far too many years to know that conventional is needed, but not always the answer. While trained in EMDR, I'm currently not practicing. It is my near future goal to go back to this modality, relearn, and start a new. I am trained and certified in TF-CBT, yet I no longer work with children. Having said that, TF-CBT provided me with many skills that allow me to support my adult clientele. I am currently training in Ketamine Assisted Therapy.
To be honest, life is tough! We all have difficulties we face and struggle to get through them, myself included. Yet it is community, supports and dedication to empowering ourselves to persevere, that are key to growth.
