We will work through the mindsets and habits that are hindering your ability to find peace, be successful, and thrive using some cognitive behavioral therapy and reality therapy. I find significance in exploring a whole body approach so we will take time to discuss your diet, self-talk, sleep, exercise, spiritual, and self-care routines. We will explore outside resources for you to research, read, listen to, try out in real life, and discuss your progress in session. Specifically, how your individual tendencies impact your relationships, career, and overall well-being and what approach should we take to improve these areas.
In our sessions, I will listen with the open-minded intention of guiding you to reach your greatest potential. We will explore your reason for seeking therapy and life in general to find solutions that move you towards the best version of yourself. This will include some work outside of therapy and you following through with the goals we set.
Throughout my life, I have been a girlfriend, wife, widow, divorcee, a single mother. I have experienced a roller coaster of emotions & seasons in my life. It's not unusual for me to battle feelings of social anxiety with feelings of inadequacy. No one is perfect and self-growth is an ever-evolving work in progress.
