My name is Ikia Young, LPC-S and as a faith-based therapist I have a passion for clients who are hurting or grieving for any reason. I have over 20 years of Corporate America experience, so I am ready to offer a unique mix of experience to the therapeutic setting. I hope to offer Christ like, compassionate support to individuals facing various challenges. Passionate about addressing disparities, I provide inclusive care to diverse communities. Recently trained in EMDR, I am honored to add trauma, anxiety and stress to my list of things I am able to work with.
As a grief therapy specialist rooted in biblical counseling I aim to transform my clients relationship with loss. Individuals, families and groups, I aim to guide my clients towards a concept of 'Good Grief.' Together we will learn to embrace loss as a catalyst for a personal and healing transformation.
