I have 25 years of experience working with high-risk women, children, and families in a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient, and public schools. Experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, and developmental disabilities.

I consider that answers are within clients, not in therapists, and I am here to help you find your own answers. My approach is truly eclectic, since I have deeply studied each of various methods, including psychodynamic, humanistic, person-centered, relational focused, Jungian, and cognitive & behavioral approaches. The approach is chosen based on my client's conditions, needs, and the stage of changes at that time. I also sometimes provide information about the connections among the brain, the nervous system, body conditions, and thoughts/emotions/behaviors.

My ideal client is someone who is willing to work with me in order to achieve their goal. This includes being able to have back and forth conversation around ways to achieve that goal, as well as have the more difficult conversations when it comes to road blocks and the occasional self sabotaging behavior. I will always be honest in my assessments, and thoughts, and my hope would be that my client is as well.
