Aging gracefully is all the rage, right? So why doesn't your aging process feel graceful? Illness, chronic pain, financial woes, death of loved ones, and loss of independence are all real problems that many face as they grow older. As an older adult, you may be feeling lonely, isolated, worthless, and hopeless. You worry about your future. As the child of an older adult, you are looking in from the outside and worrying about Mom or Dad. They seem sad or anxious. Getting out to see a therapist is not so easy anymore.
I am a social worker with over 20 years experience primarily working with the senior population. I also have many years of experience working with adults with autism and physical disabilities and enjoy helping them live their life to the fullest. I am licensed in Maryland, Florida, and Virginia.
