I work with adolescents and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, and trauma, either recent or remote. If you would like a person who is not related in any way to your situation and can offer an objective view of the situation without judgement then seek me out. I focus on working with adults using cognitive and psychoanalytic therapies. I also include a Christian faith-based focus in therapy if asked for. Hi, my name is Cara. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas, certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, with more than 25 years experience providing individual therapy. I earned a BA degree in psychology and an MS degree in counseling and educational psychology, from Texas A & M University-Corpus Christi, in 1997. I have had a private practice since 2005, while also working in psychiatric hospitals, outpatient facilities and correctional facilities. I am able to see clients, all over the State of Texas, through a HIPAA compliant confidential video link, a very convenient way to get therapy.

Dr. Rosenbaum's goal is to provide compassionate and collaborative counseling services for pre-teens, adolescents and adults who struggle with low self-esteem, anxiety, or depression, related concerns. Dr. Rosenbaum provides expert evaluation, therapy, and consultation in order to explore presenting concerns and create an individualized plan in order to implement appropriate treatment. Concerns may include emotional and behavioral related, anger management, social skills, academic, relationship conflict, stress, attention difficulties, social anxiety, panic attacks feelings of insecurity, fear, overwhelm, and sadness. When individuals experience severe stress, trauma, and/or loss, life tends to unravel and become difficult to manage. I am dedicated to seeing people rise above their circumstances and become who they were created to be. I use an integrated approach to therapy incorporating my faith is God while utilizing a variety of techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, stress management, anxiety reduction, communication skills, anger management, and establishing healthy boundaries to bring about healing, hope, and restoration to individuals who have faced or are facing life trials.
