I am a fully bilingual (English/Spanish) mental health and rehabilitative therapist offering individual, family, and couples counseling with culturally competent care. I have experience working with adolescents and adults whom have tried all they know to improve mood and decrease maladaptive behaviors. With psychotherapy and psycho-education I will introduce coping skills to improve your positive self-talk and communication with others to feel empowered and problem solve.

For counselors, we offer CEU training, administrative services, billing, credentialing, and general bookkeeping.

Unlike other programs, I understand that sometimes getting seen is urgent and you don't want to wait weeks. I attempt to get clients in within 24 hours. And I am like you; I hate waiting in the reception area to see the counselor, therefore I make every attempt to stay on schedule this is a priority to me so that I won't disrespect your time. I am currently work towards a PhD. in Addiction since I find helping those who struggle with substance use disorders important and fulfilling.

Throughout my career, I have developed a varied counseling and advisory experience, serving a wide range of populations, including Soldiers, Veterans, first responders, adolescents, and parents.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Case manager. I received my Master’s degree in Social Work from New Mexico State University. I have provided mental health counseling for over 20 years, starting my mental health career in the United States Air force, having deployed several times as a social worker supporting troops at their deployed locations.

Life can be rough, and sometimes we need a little help getting by and coping. I have always been led to help people, and have found my calling in counseling people through their trials. I have worked with individuals of various ages and issues. My goal is to help you build coping skills to get you over the challenges in your daily life and return to a sense of balance and serenity.

Our office believes that access to counseling should be easy and comfortable. I personally try my best to never turn away a client, schedule immediately, and work with any financial barriers. Although I work with a variety of treatment goals and treatment modalities, I am known for my work with children, trauma experienced populations, relationship counseling, addictions, military and advocacy for community health. When working with children, I always involve the parents and I attempt to assess in a variety of settings to assure I have the entire picture. Counseling should feel comfortable and safe.
