My name is Chelsi Williamson and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker and a Certified Yoga Teacher (200 Hr). I specialize in children and families and I am trained in EMDR for trauma resolution. I love working with family systems, be it mothers, fathers, couples, children, teens, etc. I see things through a physiologically based trauma lens with a deep understanding of how trauma gets stored in the physical body. It is a passion of mine to help all impacted individuals release the burden of carried trauma, particularly generational trauma. I love working with women trying to show up for family and change pervasive patterns.

Today’s world is a very complex place and our stress levels are often off the charts. Many times, it would be good to just have someone to talk to. Someone to discuss our stressors with – relationships, workplace issues, issues of aging and loss, issues with alcohol or drugs. I would love to be able to sit down with you and help in any way I can. I have 30+ years dealing with all these issues and more. Meredith is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a background in both acute inpatient and traditional outpatient settings. She received her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lipscomb University. Meredith practices evidence-based techniques and approaches to therapy. Some of her clinical interests include: depressive disorders, managing stress and anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, relational issues, trauma and abuse, grief, self-esteem, health/wellness, life transitions, and creating and maintaining healthy boundaries.

Imani Behavioral Health was started in May of 2018 as a way to serve the community with a multicultural team of professionals providing quality services through a multitude of therapeutic specialties. As the company grew and clientele increased; we began to realize the difficulty of finding a mental health agency that provides quality services to accommodate everyone’s various needs. Due to the growing needs of the community; we now have three offices with two in Clarksville (933 Tracy Lane suite D & 1725 Wilma Rudolph Suite 1) and one in Nashville (404 BNA Dr. Suite 200)!

Percy Ford, MC, LPC-MHSP, NCC established Lighthouse Correctional Counseling and Mental Health Services in 2012 to provide Individual Psychotherapy, Family Counseling, Group Therapy and Couples Counseling to offenders and their families. Mr. Ford earned a BS in Social Work from Tuskegee University in 1997 and graduated from Argosy University School of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences in 2007 with a MA in Professional Counseling.

My goal & passion is to value all walks of life & experiences! I know it can be difficult to seek help, the idea of counseling can freak some people out. However, if you're looking here, you're halfway there. The impact of trauma, stigma toward mental health, addictions, the LGBTQ+ community, infidelity can reinforce dysfunctional coping, self-loathing and sometimes self-harm. It can keep people stuck. I understand this on a personal and professional level. Therapy's not easy and not the most ideal at times, but can help if you team up with someone who will earn your trust. I want to help those who want and need support

Whether you are struggling with mental health issues, your identity, or just need someone to talk to, I believe help should be non-judgmental and accessible to everyone. I especially enjoy working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, high school and college students, people of all spiritual or religious beliefs (including people without religious beliefs), and self-identified “people-pleasers.”

It is not easy to ask for help, but sometimes we have to admit what we are doing may not be working. I aim to make therapy collaborative and comfortable. Because I understand the importance of talking to someone and not feeling judged or being criticized. Hi there! I am a counselor who works with clients ages 13+ and am skilled in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, body image, self-esteem, anger management, and transition issues. I also have specialized training and experience working with older adults with dementia and other cognitive and age-related changes. Additionally, I see teenagers and adults of all ages who identify as LGBTQIA+ and am well-versed in helping clients who are questioning their identities, beginning the coming-out process, and/or transitioning. I am included as a recommended specialist for transgender mental health in the local OUTMemphis Resource Guide.

I am open to clients who are ready to work to change their difficulties. Being open and honest to seek ways to enhance their lives. I am very direct and interactive with people and love to help people get to the root of their issues and resolve them. It is brave and hard work for people but I will walk that road with you.
