I once read a social media post that said," If you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, I will sit with you in the dark." Life happens and not always in a positive way. Even good days can be stressful. I do not promise to "fix you," but I do promise to help you heal and get back to life as it was meant to be. Some days, you don't feel like talking, that is okay, we can sit and do whatever you need. Everyone heals differently. What is important is that you heal your way and know you are not alone. It is important to love yourself so that others can also love you.

While I specialize in trauma treatment, I find that the principles of trauma-informed care apply to most clients. I affirm clients of all religions, races, and sexual identities. Effective therapy is all about offering a safe space for clients to share, and then helping them push themselves to achieve the life they want. My clients are encouraged to consider their own goals and how to achieve them, emphasizing the client's strengths and self-determination.

Dr. Hatton is a licensed clinical psychologist who received his M.S. in experimental psychology and Psy.D. in clinical psychology from Georgia Southern University. He completed his predoctoral internship at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville Student Counseling Center, where he worked as a full-time staff member for 5 years.Dr. Hatton is a generalist who specializes in mood disorders, such as anxiety and depression, as well as life transitions, religion and spirituality, shyness and social anxiety, stress management, and religious trauma.

E is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and provides individual therapy to adults. She is originally from Florida and received her master’s degree in social work from Florida Atlantic University. She has training and expertise in a variety of mental and behavioral health areas, including addiction treatment, geriatric care, child therapy and individual therapy with adults. Prior to receiving her master’s degree, E was a Certified Addiction Specialist in Florida. She spent time counseling in treatment centers but wanted additional education and training to be able to practice more diverse treatment approaches.
