As a licensed clinical psychologist grounded in the power of relationships and neuropsychology, my mission is to promote healthy development, healing, and emotional & relational wellbeing. I provide therapy and assessment from a dynamic, inclusive, and empowering stance that supports a genuine experience of connection along with learning, healing, and resilience building. I am also an experienced clinical supervisor who is devoted to supporting the clinical and leadership development of rising therapists and psychologists.

Becoming a parent is one of the most transformative journeys a person will experience. For some it can be a time for self awareness, reflection and deepening of relationships. For others it may be a time filled with anxiety, fear and distress. After baby arrives the family will be in a time of transition, navigating new roles and how to care for and attune to baby. I am passionate about supporting parents and their babies to navigate the crucial time period.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Whole Person Certified Coach (WPCC) and a Creative Arts Therapist. I have worked in several agencies around Chicago providing a range of therapeutic services as well as clinical supervision. I have done extensive work with individual and group therapy and find great joy in helping others. I utilize both verbal counseling and creative arts techniques when working with clients. My experience includes helping individuals deal with personal stress, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, low self-esteem, life adjustments and relationship issues.

The step toward seeking support can feel intimidating. To ensure that you feel as comfortable and at ease in the process as possible, I aim to provide a secure, empathic and judgement free space where we can build a trusting therapeutic relationship to focus our work on responding to your specific needs and concerns.

I seek to provide a haven where clients can feel safe to explore whatever surfaces in their present challenges, transitions and internal experience. Many times thoughts, emotions, behaviors and experiences are understood, and personal truths can surface, particularly because of the safety and trust found in the therapeutic relationship. Ultimately this place of trust and non judgement is the core of healing and where personal growth occurs. While there are many models of treatment this is the essence of what I seek to offer and value most.

I have extensive experience in treating anxiety, intimacy issues, relationships, sexuality, couples, self-doubt, trauma, faith-based therapy, grief, as well as adoption and fertility matters. I am also a subject expert on minority, faith-based, cultural, and ethical issues. Combining my experience in trauma and family dynamics, as well as my passion for diversity, I excel at providing care to clients regardless of where they come from or how they identify.

An exciting moment happens in therapy when a personal challenge is examined from a renewed perspective. In that moment, what once seemed difficult can take on new meaning. It has the potential to become a defining moment that inspires continued change, growth, and healing. Furthering this process is the potential realization that these ideas were already innate and just awaiting connection.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and earned a PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision from Northern Illinois University. I have provided a range of counseling, supervision, and training services over the past 16 years. I believe that change occurs through an honest, respectful, and authentic relationship and I strive to work collaboratively with my clients and trainees as a counselor, educator, supervisor, and consultant. Through the counseling process I assist clients in identifying and understanding current solutions to a healthier, happier, and more satisfying quality of life.

My specialties are in couple's issues, anxiety, depression, grief and loss (particularly partner, parent, or child loss), chronic or terminal illness, as well as infertility and postpartum mood disorders. I enjoy treating issues related to parenting, including the complex demands placed on parents of disabled children. I’ve partnered with corporations to provide on-site therapy in the midst of workplace crisis and tragedy, as well as presenting on mental health issues in the workplace. My first book is coming out in spring of 2025 with Workman Publishing on the topic of disability parenting.

I have 35 years of experience as a clinician, supervisor, consultant, former chaplain, and I am a Distinguished Full Professor at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I have worked across the life span with individuals, couples, groups, families and organizations and have taught in 11 countries. My focus is on providing a space for unfolding what matters to you without judgment or without telling you how to live your life. I companion with you as we follow together what is of concern in specific situations. I am known as a therapist for those who distrust therapy or who feel deeply misunderstood, or uncelebrated.

Diana Goldman de Zocchi has over 30 years of clinical experience in both individual and couple therapy/counseling in three different countries: Argentina, Spain and the United States. She received her Bachelor and Master Degrees in Psychology from the University of Buenos Aires. Diana completed 4 additional years of psychodynamic training at the Argentinean Psychoanalytical Association (Member of the IPA ). Diana also has more than 10 years of experience in Teaching and Supervision of postgraduate trainees. She currently supervises fellow colleagues in private practice and is faculty in China America Psychoanalytical Alliance.

Costa holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from DePaul University and a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. He is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, a Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and a Certified Professional Coach. Costa utilizes a variety of therapeutic and motivational approaches (including CBT) to help his clients cope with depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, and a variety of life transitions and stressors. He also has spent many years helping clients navigate career development goals and achieving greater career success.

Jeffrey is a licensed marriage and family therapist and an AAMFT approved supervisor committed to treating individuals, couples, and families. Jeffrey’s experiences include working with those affected by day-to-day stressors, transitions and difficulty establishing meaning in their lives. He holds extensive experience treating a variety of couples’ issues such as infidelity, strenuous transitions, and communication problems in relationships. Additionally, he holds a great interest in working with first responders, veterans and military families, as well as those impacted by negative childhood experiences.

As a licensed clinical professional counselor with over a decade of experience providing therapy and leadership in clinical settings, I have seen first-hand that the therapy experience is as diverse as the human experience. The exploration, acceptance, and integration of all parts of ourselves is difficult and a long process for those that choose to pursue it. The payoff is the comfort that comes with knowing that your decisions and life are your own, not the work of lingering ghosts and dynamics we cannot yet see.

I am accepting new clients and conducting ZOOM sessions. I have a Holistic perspective in my approach to psychotherapy, rooted in an interest in spirituality, social justice, and meditation. I have focused on working with clients with Anxiety, Depression, Life transitions, Relationship Issues and Grief and Loss. In addition to my Psychotherapy practice, I have provided Clinical Supervision to MA-level therapists working in community counseling.

In my work with individuals recovering from addictions, eating disorders, co-dependency and trauma, I assess which modality (individual, group psychotherapy or family therapy) will help my clients achieve their goals most effectively. I work with parents in the areas of attachment, financial literacy, discipline, boundary setting & launching as well as, couples who are struggling with infertility.I believe a therapist actively participates in the relationship, in addition to observing the process and offering expertise.
