After many years of my own psychotherapy with several different behavioral health practitioners, I am grateful for their reaching out to me with their intelligence, experience and empathy. The majority of my patients seeking psychotherapy complain and often exhibit signs of depression or anxiety, and often both. They often have difficulty throughout the day and night, having trouble concentrating with fatigue and poor short-term memory, with persistant eating issues, and hypersomnia and or insomnia, worsening their condition. I, too, dealt with depression and anxiety and with the help of caring, experienced practioners have healed.
After 30 years in practice, my patient base consists of adolescents, adults, seniors, couples, military veterans and their loved ones. Among other issues I treat are those who suffer with chronic pain, grief, and trauma, clients and their caregivers coping with Alzheimer's Disease.
I am certified in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and various other appropriate therapies . I begin our session with relaxation, gently explore your spiritual beliefs, identify your issues and develop a treatment plan. My patients are generally successful in meeting their goals and often find resolution in other areas of their lives.
