About
The bright promising world we once knew can grow dark through our perceived negative experiences in life. It is hard to get out of a dark or chaotic place if we cannot see our way out. Mental health or Substance abuse counseling helps us to identify the incidents in life that may have influenced our current behavior, process it, and then restructure our thoughts and lives so that we can recapture a view of that light we once lost sight of. We can then set goals with intentional actions to help move forward to a more fulfilling version of ourselves through positive thought, constructive choices, and healthy relationships.
I have 12 years of experience in behavior health of help others overcome mental barriers and restrictive environments. I have worked with adults and adolescents on mental health and substance abuse issues in both group and individual settings. My theoretical approach contains heavy elements of cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused brief therapy.
