I work with individuals, couples/groups and families. My clients have ranged in age from 8 to 98. No problem is too big or too small for us to tackle together. I provide a safe, non-assuming and non-judgmental space where you can explore your goals. I am a trauma therapist who practices EMDR. If you want to move past obstacles and go to new places in your life, we can start that in a low pressure and affirming way according to your interests. Clients I see work on trauma, anxiety, depression, couples, communication, co-parenting, family issues, addiction, life stages and changes. I specialize in neurodivergence. LGBTQIA+ allied.
I offer EMDR for recent or past trauma both single event or chronic. Somatic experiences and pain can be targeted effectively as well. I draw from experience in both alternative and traditional education in my work with families and children. I mix talk therapy with attention to the body, somatic, mindfulness, Gottman and Emotion Focused therapy.
I know how hard it is to open up about your thoughts, past and present circumstances. Showing someone personal sides of yourself can be hard and you need someone you can trust completely. Your world view and experiences are so interesting to me. There is no one else like you and we will work together to find solutions just as unique as you are.
