I provide counseling to individuals and couples in the Salt Lake City area. I work with my clients to identify issues clearly and help them to create lasting change. Once this change occurs, problems will be seen as opportunities, rather than failures. I am often told by my clients they feel a level of trust, acceptance and comfort that has been missing with other therapists. When working with individuals, I use acceptance and mindfulness based approaches to manage anxiety and other symptoms you may be experiencing. I will help you look at negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a fulfilling life.
| Couples Therapy | I utilize an approach called Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). EFT research shows that 70-75% of couples move from marital distress to recovery and approximately 90% show significant improvements.

RO DBT
RO DBT (Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy) Skills Classes for Adults. RO DBT classes are designed to teach emotion regulation and interpersonal effectiveness skills to folx with emotional over-control. Individuals who over control their emotions are often highly successful in school and work settings and struggle to feel emotional closeness and connection with others in relationships. They often appear to “have it all together”, while also feeling lonely and isolated and struggling emotionally under the surface. Humans with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), neuro-divergence, depression, PTSD/CPTSD and more can benefit from these skills classes.
