Ciara has a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She additionally possesses two bachelors degrees in Psychology and Social Work from Appalachian State University. Ciara has seven years of experience working with children and families in a variety of settings including child welfare, hospice, and mental health.
Ciara understands that children have their own unique language and do not always have the words to express how they are feeling; especially when they are experiencing "big" emotions that may be new to them. Ciara also works closely with adults to explore, manage, and process thoughts and feelings originating from present circumstances and/or from childhood.
