Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have my Masters in Social Work from University of Texas at Arlington. I have worked in the field of mental health and as a therapist for 30 years. I am licensed in Arkansas and Tennessee. I work with adults of all ages and backgrounds who are experiencing difficulties such as difficulty coping, low self esteem, anxiety, grief and loss, and stress due to life transitions. I believe that reaching out to a therapist is a big step.
In our first session together we will talk about what has caused you to decide to seek therapy. I will explore the problems you are experiencing in order to get an understanding of how you are feeling and functioning. Then we will talk about what you are wanting to get from therapy - what are your expectations and your goals for your therapy.
I can help you identify the root causes of your problems in order for you to gain a better understanding of yourself. I can then supply you with skills and techniques that will help you to find solutions that work best for you and that lead to measurable progress.
