My name is Trina Middleton I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I hold licenses in Arkansas and Tennessee. I have been a therapist for 30 years. I currently work with clients via teletherapy. I work with clients of all ages and backgrounds who are experiencing difficulties such as anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, relationship problems, and stress due to life transitions.
My approach to therapy is primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also use Person-Centered Therapy and Trauma Based approaches, depending on the types of problems my clients may be experiencing. I assist clients in discovering and using their strengths that will empower them to make positive changes in their lives.
I believe feeling comfortable and connected with a therapist is an important part of making progress in therapy. I want my clients to feel they can discuss whatever they are thinking and feeling without feeling judged. I also encouraged clients to take action in order to make positive changes.
