Hello :) My name is Tricia and I’m a licensed professional counselor with over eight years of experience in the mental health field! I consider myself to be a caring, down-to-earth and thoughtful counselor who is best equipped to serve clients who are striving to understand themselves better, who are seeking deeper meaning in life and who want to liberate themselves from dysfunctional living. I believe that we are all capable as humans to heal and influence our lives beyond our greatest imaginations! I also believe that while transformation can feel heavy at times, it can also be fun, interesting and more cathartic than many know.
My main focuses with clients have included treating anxiety disorders, trauma & other issues such as communication, self-esteem and life transitions. I am trained in EMDR (an evidence based modality for processing trauma in the brain and body) and utilize CBT, DBT, REBT, reality therapy, existential therapy and mindfulness very regularly in sessions as well.
