I am a licensed mental health counselor with over 17 years of clinical experience working in community-based mental health clinics, forensic settings, public schools, and higher education settings. My experience is with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families with various behavioral, mental health, substance abuse, and relational issues.
I provide services in both English and Spanish. I treat anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, mood disorders, PTSD, grief, and co-occurring disorders. Please note that I am only conducting sessions via telehealth at the moment. Also, I only treat ages 14 and up.
My treatment approach is primarily Cognitive-behavioral therapy, however, I consider myself to be an eclectic clinician by utilizing various theoretical approaches to tailor treatment to the needs of each individual client. I work with my clients to help them gain a deeper understanding of themselves, leading to lasting emotional and behavioral change.
