I believe that therapy is a partnership and I seek to gain a trusting and caring relationship with all my clients. I received my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I have experience working in private practice, community mental health, and with at-risk populations and in a residential setting. I enjoy working with adolescents, adult individuals, and families with issues such as: Depression, Anxiety, Trauma/PTSD, substance use, and family of origin issues.
To help clients move forward in their goals, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as primary therapeutic approaches. I believe in strength-based and solution-focused methods to help clients meet their goals.
Please email me or you can reach me through my website to inquire about becoming a new client. Together we can work on the goals that are important to you!
