I believe that therapy is a valuable process which helps people sort through some of the difficulties that life sometimes offers. As a therapist, I assist my clients in the exploration of getting to know who they truly are in order to have a more fulfilled life.
My approach is client-centered, which means that the therapy is directed by the needs of the client. I work with the client to determine the best way to address issues and find solutions. In this, the client gains a deeper understanding of their thoughts and feelings.
I take a compassionate and direct approach. Although therapy is about dealing with the more serious side of life, I have found that there is room for the use of humor. The journey of therapy is about solving problems, and increasing joy in life.
