If you are stuck, challenged or unhappy, therapy can be a great tool. Together we can reflect on what changes you would like to make in your life and how your past or present may be influencing your ability to make positive transformations. You start to free yourself from what holds you back. That freedom can help you envision a very different life or road for yourself. The alliance makes it possible to look at yourself in different ways, and don't worry, I'm not one of those quiet therapists that never speaks up. I do and will use our interactions to help you reach what you want and find new ways to evaluate your life.

I have strong interest and experience with clients with bipolar disorder and other mood disorders like depression. I am passionate about providing respectful therapy to those with persistent mental illness. I also love working with couples and am currently training in Developmental Theory with Pete Pearson and Ellyn Bader.

I will meet your drive and determination to transform your life or relationship with empathy, understanding and competence. It is an honor to work with you. When I begin with someone new I remember something I heard in college: "Therapy is my life's work, but it's the client's life. Go gently, go with curiosity, and go with kindness into this field."
