My website

I am a trauma-informed LGBTQIA+-affirming licensed professional clinical counselor (Ohio). It is important to me to work with a diverse population with a variety of presenting issues. I have experience working with clients with traumatic stress injuries, dealing with issues of identity, struggling with self-criticism and feelings of shame, having difficulties related to anxiety and depression, experiencing panic attacks and clients experiencing obsessive thinking or compulsions. I am passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ identifying individuals and aim to provide an open and affirming counseling experience to all of my clients.

I am integrative in my work with clients, drawing from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), EMDR, schema therapy, and compassion-focused therapy (CFT). I frequently use experiential exercises with clients including imagery work. My integrative approach offers flexibility and alternatives for clients who have had limited success with traditional CBT.

I work with my clients from a place of compassion, acknowledging their expertise on their own experience, and supporting them as a fellow traveler in the journey of life. I believe in working with both the past and the present to build skills for managing current difficulties while addressing the origins of current patterns of thinking and behaving.
