Our lives are made up of relationships. These may be with with friends, family members, complete strangers, or even ourselves. They may also be relationships to the kind of work we do and activities in which we participate. Unfortunately, difficulties can form in these relationships, and having someone who can help you understand and navigate these problems is essential. My desire is for you to feel validated and understood as we make sense of your concerns together, ultimately helping you feel more comfortable in your own skin and empowered to make the changes you are seeking.
During my 10 year career, I've worked in many of settings, to include: the United States military, outpatient hospitals, hospice, and community mental health. In these settings, I have worked successfully with individuals to overcome difficulties with depression, anxiety, interpersonal difficulties, grief, posttraumtic stress, job difficulties, and many others.
Psychotherapy is akin to a dress rehearsal for life, but eventually, the show must go on. My primary focus is on cultivating our relationship and understanding your concerns inter-relationally. This allows us to create new experiences during our sessions that can make your other relationships more satisfying and meaningful.
