I aim to provide person-centered therapy with an eclectic approach. Ultimately my goal is to assist any client that I am working with to feel better. Whether it is improving coping mechanisms, an open dialogue that cultivates validation and trust, or setting and achieving actionable goals. Counseling should be tailored to the individual's needs, and I will work with anyone to help develop a treatment plan that meets those needs adequately. My belief is that each session's focus should always be on the client and the work.
My goal is to assist clients with regulating their emotions, increasing goal-directed behavior, and understanding/managing their mental health symptoms. My specialty is assisting clients with understanding psychological constructs that may be intimidating and/or foreign to them, but useful in promoting self-regulation and healing.
