Healing is a journey, it never occurs in a straight line, and almost always has its ups and downs which make it both challenging and rewarding. Therapy is the same way in this regard, and in therapy, every individual's journey is unique. My approach is grounded in person-centered therapy meaning I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you will be accepted with unconditional positive regard, and where you will be free to be your authentic self. Therapy will feel like a partnership where together we will uncover your strengths, collaborate on your own unique treatment goals, and work on them at your own pace.
Whether you're navigating depression, anxiety, substance use, PTSD, or persistent mental health challenges I will meet you where you are at using evidenced-based approaches like motivational interviewing, mindfulness, CBT, and prolonged exposure. I also have experience working with adolescents and couples while tailoring therapy to each individual's needs.
