Hello. I'm a National Board Certified, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) based in North Carolina. I'm also a National Certified Anger Management Specialists (CAMS-II) and National Certified Parent Training Specialist II (CPTS-II). I'm a rostered Trauma Focused CBT clinician through the North Carolina Child Treatment Program. I'm currently in a cohort for Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) through the North Carolina Child Treatment Program. I'm also certified to complete CAPP (Clinical Assessment of Protective Parenting) assessments for county Department of Social Services agencies in North Carolina.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, explanation would be given about privacy practices and expectations of the therapy process, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. Our first encounter may last one hour. This will help me to develop a holistic view of you to provide better assistance in follow-up sessions.
Having worked with children and adults in a therapeutic setting for the past 7 years, I've found ways to help you determine the root of your challenges and partner with you to develop a plan that leads to measurable progress.
