Hello, I am Travis Knowlton, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My approach to therapy is that of being strength-based and my goal is to make you your own mental warrior! looking at life and therapy through an existential lens, getting to the root cause of our troubles will release us of your traumas, triggers, and frustrations. Implementing somatic psychotherapy is an approach where the body holds the ability to manage and process stress. The combination of the two will allow an awareness of self and life that is liberating.
I will be there with you along the way practicing coping skills, working through relationship and communication struggles. Challenges will be presented that are tailored to you and your life as well as a safe and encouraging environment.
I attend to clients starting at the age of 12, families, couples, and individuals who are facing daily stressors, toxic stress, trauma. Goal setting is an interdependent process that is completed with the client and tailored to their specific needs.
