One of the most important lessons I have learned as a therapist is that therapy requires more than a one size fits all approach. I treat every person as an individual. I lean on my years of experience and use a multitude of treatment modalities to treat your individual needs. We can work together to help you achieve your therapeutic goals. I have treated individuals with a variety of issues, including PTSD, depression, anxiety, panic disorders, dissociative identity disorder, substance abuse disorders, anger, and more. I have also helped families and couples achieve harmony and improve their relationships and communication.

I provide therapy using a collaborative and integrative approach. This means that I actively listen to your goals to tailor an individual treatment plan that meets your needs. I specialize in individual therapy and sport/mental performance skills training. I also offer adult neuropsychology evaluations and specialize in assessing for ADHD, dementia, learning disabilities, concussions/TBI, stroke, and more. I also provide cognitive rehabilitation, which means that after an evaluation, I can provide additional support with learning cognitive coping strategies.

Dr. Ekemo recently relocated his practice to Auburn, CA from Bellevue Washington. He has been providing psychological services for over 20 years mainly to public safety agencies (pre-employment screening, fitness for duty, critical incident debriefings, job coaching and management consultations). He also specializes in individual Neuropsychological evaluations (brain injuries, dementia etc.) and Risk Management consultations to private sector organizations and HR departments.
