I have been a therapist for over 20 years, have trained in multiple approaches and am consistently deepening and refining my practice. I have specialized in childhood development, anxiety, neurodiversity, trauma focused and trauma informed care with all ages. Pregnancy and childbirth can be filled with excitement, but it can also be a time of anxiety, stress, sadness, fear, and panic. Maybe something just doesn't feel quite right. I am a licensed professional counselor with a background in community mental health. I bring to my practice years of work with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, PTSD, generational trauma, addiction issues, life transitions and grief and loss. I utilize brief therapy modalities in my practice along with longer-term models like Jungian and other depth psychologies. Within this framework I embrace an existential paradigm, focusing on the four ultimate concerns or conditions in living: death, freedom, isolation and meaninglessness. Spirituality and the deep feminine are core aspects of my practice.

Seeking support for your young child's development? I have 20 years of experience working with children of all ages in homes, schools, and clinics. I work with babies, toddlers, and preschoolers alongside their families. You may be processing a diagnosis, or wondering about how to best support your child who is developing differently than you expected. My work with children is through play, as play is the language of the child. Come away feeling empowered and equipped to support your child's skill- building while fostering a secure attachment in your relationship with them.

Neurodiverse clients I have worked with said they felt understood and supported and said that I genuinely care about them. I encourage neurodiverse communication styles, ways of thinking, and varieties of emotional expression. I will follow your lead on what you want out of therapy. The autistic community has a higher rate of trans and nonbinary gender identities which I celebrate. I also have a master’s degree in child development. I focused on sexual development and attachment theory. I support all sexualities and ethical relationship styles. I also studied healthy racial identity development in people of color and white people.

My approach is a non-nonjudgemental, nondiagnostic in nature, although you might have DSM disorder I am not counseling your diagnosis but working with you as a human being. The issues of therapy have to do with you and your feelings and thoughts about how are you doing inside, how do you balance in a crisis like now. What is it your dreaming or afraid of? Can we explore all the ways to manage your world regardless of the conflicts in the outer world?
