Welcome! I am a Psychotherapist (in practice since 2010) and owner of Mindful Life Therapy LLC in Somerville, NJ. MLT (est. 2012) is a team of professional, compassionate, and skillful Clinicians. Treating adolescents through adults who struggle with a variety of psychiatric, emotional and behavioral issues in individual and family counseling. I specialize in helping children and their families who have experienced trauma, grief and acute family conflict. With over 15 years of experience working in related fields of school based programs, community mental health, case management, crisis intervention, trauma, grief and loss, I have a practice specialty of working with at-risk youth and their families. As a family therapist, I assist families' to problem-solve, communicate and work towards positive functioning at home and school. I also counsel adults and couples who experience marital difficulties, life transitions, grief and loss and psychological issues.

Emphasizing an individual's sense of agency and inner strength, I will help provide a safe environment for clients to explore and find what strategies are right for them. I have years of experience in working with the exploration of gender, including working with children, adolescents, and adults who identify as trans* or nonbinary.
