I provide therapy through a strengths-based, trauma-focused lens, and view each person as a resilient individual system capable of developing agency of their lived story and gaining mastery of their whole self. My clients include individuals and families living with challenges complicated by mental illness, emotional and behavioral disorders, trauma and family violence. My therapy services and community provider trainings are designed to provide an holistic and trauma-informed, culturally-attuned approach to understanding and healing from the abuse and trauma affecting individuals, relationships, families and systems.
Domestic abuse, family violence and experiences of trauma are strong focuses of my work. I am trained in Narrative Exposure Therapy and EMDR for the treatment of PTSD and complex trauma. I offer culturally-informed therapy for Veterans who are engaging in abusive behaviors in their homes and are working to repair relationships after family violence.
Additionally, I am a registered Qualified Neutral for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice, and provide Coaching and Parenting Consulting services for family court-involved parents. I am most easily reached through my website or email.
