I believe that genuine presence, authentic connection, and a welcoming sense of curiosity, inspires each client to recover and overcome. I hold genuine and positive regard for my clients which enables me to encourage and support them as they come to understand the origins of their challenges and how to meet and transform them. I counsel individuals (ages 17 and up). My practice focuses on transitions, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, loss, spirituality and meaning and highly sensitive persons (HSPs). My commitment is to discover the strengths and gifts of each client so they may discover their true self.
I am certified as a Clinical Trauma Professional and am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). These techniques are trauma-focused and aid in dismantling negative belief systems that interfere with life. I am also a certified Spiritual Counselor and certified in working with HSPs.
My practice focuses on purpose and looking at the unique gifts each person brings to this world. I am licensed in both Minnesota (in person and via telehealth) and South Dakota (via telehealth only).
