Working with adolescents, adults, and couples is my passion and primary focus. Therapy will empower you to overcome life's challenges and replace old patterns and beliefs with a new openness to the possibilities of your potential. My therapeutic techniques provide supportive interactions that can replace one's undesirable outcomes with improvement in self-awareness, ability to cope with trauma and grief, as well as personal barriers. Life is a constant balancing act of ongoing work, school, sports or health demands that include building and maintaining relationships that at the same time may require social, personal, and/ or parenting responsibilities.

My ideal client is open to new perspectives and ideas. Their goals align with becoming their most authentic and genuine versions of themselves by gaining insight and understanding through telling their story. Human beings need to be reminded that their feelings and experiences are valid and have someone support them as they overcome life's many adversities.

I thrive on supporting clients to bloom! I am pleased to work with adults of all ages who experience challenges with trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, recovery from substance use and food addiction. I specialize in helping people with compassionate, strength-based, self-acceptance; enhanced self-esteem; mindfulness; and loving self-care. I engage with clients holistically supporting them to find emotional, intellectual, spiritual, social, financial and physical well-being.

Individuals in recovery from mental health and/or addiction face numerous challenges, but motivation for recovery is a powerful force that propels us forward. My life experiences help me relate closely to survivors of suicide as well as others. As hard as the first counseling appointment can be, you will find counseling is worth it. I work with adults, adolescents, and couples, specializing in anxiety, depression, addictions, and relationships. Having created and managed small businesses most of my career, I’m skilled in supporting managers and business owners in navigating difficult personalities and work dynamics. I have 30 years of teaching experience, including 20 as a certified meditation teacher, and a decade teaching Spanish in corporate settings.

I hold a master degree in social work from Wayne State University. I am passionate about my role and calling to provide Christian and Psychological counseling to children and adults.
