I identify as a yogi therapist who takes a holistic approach to each session. I specialize in acquired disabilities, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideations, addiction/substance abuse, and emotional regulation to name a few. Humama Khan, PhD is a Georgia state licensed psychologist who specializes in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Of all the therapists in the field of mental health, the Psychologist has the highest level of education and training available. Dr. Khan has received extensive training in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health concerns. She has familiarity with many different therapeutic approaches to help clients satisfy and maintain their goals. Dr. Khan works with a variety of ages (children, adolescents, and adults).

I have over a decade of experience working with women and children. My specialties include working with clients that are dealing with: childhood abuse, domestic violence and sexual violence trauma, perinatal mental health, divorce and parenting issues as well as depression and anxiety.

Born and raised in the Newark riots Felecia Burton, AAS, BS, MA, Ed.S, ABD, AAC is no stranger to the survivor narrative. As a Recovery Specialist and D & A Counselor nothing gives her more pleasure than having the ability to invoke the power of CHANGE in others when delivering a clear message of hope. In 2007 with two years of sobriety and seeking greatness Felecia enrolled into CCP and received an associate degree and in 2009 Felecia went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in Counseling at Drexel University, then a Masters in Psychology from NCU and a doctorate from American College of Education in Leadership.

I believe therapy helps us understand the power of the mind. This is especially useful when we feel disconnected, marginalized, or stigmatized. When we feel this way, learning how the mind channels this information through thoughts, feelings, emotions, and perceptions, can influence us to recognize our own cognitive processes and how they impact our life. If we attend to our cognitive processes in a healthy way, it may lead to regulation of mood, clarity, balance and feelings of peace. We start to evolve and accept certain things about ourselves. We begin to feel at peace from within. I help my clients through this process.
